Aguas Blancas

Officially recognized as a nudist beach on the island, but many people still go covered up and still feel at home. An open, long bay with occasional prevailing winds from the south, which results in the waves crashing on the beach with greater strength and speed than elsewhere. The later makes it an ideal location for Body boarding. Aguas Blancas is one of the most narrow beaches on the island, which means you will always be close to the water. Tends to be quite crowded especially on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and at the peak of the summer season.

This beach is a preferred destination of many locals that live in the area. There is a large bar-restaurant towards the middle of the beach, where you can enjoy international cuisine whilst overlooking the beach. On the other hand make your way to the left hand end of the beach to enjoy the company of locals and the inn crowd, which meet at the popular chiringuito with chill out tunes to accompany excellent food and drinks all day. The sun sets early on this side of the island behind the high cliffs, but on occasions the entertainment and good times continue well beyond sunset. A must!
